This system contains two catalytic converters. The one in the header is a full cat and the front pipe contains a high flow cat. No ECU tune is required, bolt on and go without worry of a CEL. Also this system will kill the torque dip found on the stock car. We have a single piece mid pipe section that is mandrel bent as needed and one of the straightest available. A V-Band clamp was used to attach the axle back portion for ease of install, and future V2 (right side single exit) and V3 (no muffler single exit) upgrade options. You hear the exhaust when you want to, by letting the RPM's wrap out with your foot firmly on the floor, and don't hear it when cruising at 3000 RPM down the highway. It is also not overly loud when shifting normally on your morning commute to work. .To keep the ruckus down during normal driving we had to use a heavier muffler. Testing showed us that the lighter mufflers increased noise in the RPM ranges for daily commutes and is not something we wanted in our V1 system. We will have lighter exhausts for our V2 and V3 due out later this year. The number one goal for the V1 is sound and daily drive-ability, and I firmly believe that has been accomplished here. V-Band Clamp for rear section Up to a 7 Wheel HP Gain in the RPM range Up to a 3 FT LB in Torque Gain in the RPM range Lighter than stock exhaust system Fits manual FRS / BRZ cars LIFETIME WARRANTY FOR ORIGINAL OWNER Header Info The exhaust runners are 1.75" in OD and flow into a 4 to 1 merge collector that exits into a 2.5" OD catalytic converter which mates to the factory over pipe or any aftermarket over pipe that is in the factory location. The stock under tray will bolt right back up after installation, making sure you can still protect the cars underbelly, as well. Our catted UEL header is a simple bolt on install that gains 18ft lb. of torque and 12HP in the infamous "dip". Peak power is up 14HP and 5ft lbs of torque with no ECU tuning. Unlock even more with a tune. No CEL, as well, for those who wish to not stare at a light on the dash.
